PKU EASY Tablets are for use in the dietary management of Phenylketonuria (PKU) for ages 3 years and above.1 PKU EASY Tablets are a phenylalanine free protein substitute tablet containing essential and non-essential amino acids.1
DOSAGE:1
To be determined by the clinician or dietician, dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. 11 tablets are equivalent to 10 grams of protein.
ADMINISTRATION GUIDELINES:1
PKU EASY Tablets are coated slow release formulation, which are to be swallowed whole with liquid.
STORAGE:
Store in a cool, dry place.
PACK SIZE:1
6 x 77 tablets.
SHELF LIFE:1
Shelf life is 18 months. Once opened, the product should be consumed within one month.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:1
Must only be given to patients with proven PKU under strict medical supervision. Suitable from 3 years and above. Not for use as a sole source of nutrition. Diet must be supplemented with natural protein, water and other nutrients in prescribed quantities to supply phenylalanine, fluid and general requirements. For enteral use only.
